Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing is an innovative technique that transfers designs onto various fabrics using a heat-press mechanism. Unlike Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing, which is limited to cotton fabrics, DTF printing is versatile and compatible with materials such as polyester, cotton, silk, and synthetic fibers like rayon or terrycot.

DTF Printing Process:

3. Powder Application: After printing, coat the film with a special adhesive powder that adheres to the ink and helps it bond to the transfer material.
4. Curing the Film: Heat the film to cure the adhesive powder, preparing it for transfer.
5. Heat Press Transfer: Use a heat press to transfer the design from the film onto the fabric.
6. Peeling the Film: After pressing, peel off the film to reveal the vibrant, durable design on the substrate.
7. Final Pressing: Perform a final pressing to ensure the design is securely affixed and to enhance durability.
